Welcome March & St. Patrick’s Day with a Front & Back Porch Irish Inspired Decor

Here are some quick St. Patrick’s Day and the month of March tips to green up the outside of your home. After the pink Valentine’s decorations are put away, freshen up your outdoor spaces with the colors of Ireland… Green, Orange, and White.

Place a homemade wreath to show your Irish Spirit!
The Hobby Lobby Grapevine Wreath will display your creativity.
Intertwine Shamrock Tinsel (Party City) around wreath. For best results, snip off grapevine snaps to avoid getting your tinsel in a twist:)
Anchor tinsel around one vine to secure it, then weave it around wreath.
Add a cute Irish Leprechaun/Knome as a focal point.
Back wooden Leprechaun with felt so it doesn’t make sound when brushing against door.
Twine is a crafter’s best friend!
William Sonoma Scissors are excellent.
Save previous year’s cards and display.
This Polder 5-Step Ladder comes in handy for most house needs.
Our porch needed some TLC after taking down Valentine’s decor.
Using fabrics from Hobby Lobby or JoAnn Fabrics is an inexpensive way to liven up a space.
Ellie, our sweet pup peeking through the window.

Add some Irish cheer to your back porch, too!

A simple plastic tablecloth in lime green is sure to bring some luck.
Bright orange Toile adds a touch of the Irish flag colors and is inexpensive.
Try weighting down the tablecloth with paper clips & clothes pins.
Use more Shamrock Tinsel in a glass hurricane vase to add height to the table.
Pansies & Violas…! Love these hearty and lovely flowers.
Sew some pillow covers and place over existing pillows for an inexpensive rocking chair pick-me-up.
Use pillows you already have and rethink how to arrange/reuse them.
Gray Flagstone needs some color.
This Recycled Scrolled Door mat is perfect for holding the seasonal matts.
Like this spring inspired posey & butterfly mat.
More easy to sew pillow covers add some life to the yellowish-brown grass beyond.
Ellie says, ” Happy St. Patrick’s Day!”
